Which "Planet of the Apes" movie is your favorite?

This is a pretty specific question, but I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or not.

I absolutely loved the original (duh, who didn’t?) but beneath the planet of the apes, was, well. not really what i had hoped for.

so go ahead, alert me of spoilers, should i waste my time watching the rest of the sequels? was that just a jank movie compared to the rest of them? Or is it just all downhill from the original?
