Best medium priced hotels in downtown vancouver?

This won’t really answer your question, but I was thinking of trying out a private apartment rental the next time I go traveling. There are some places you can rent them out for a day or two at a time (like a hotel), and they can be even cheaper than crappy hotel rooms a lot of the time. Here are just a couple of examples of what I’m talking about: Example 1 and Example 2
