Who was Cain's wife and who were HER parents?

Adam and Eve begat Cain and Abel. Cain killed Abel, leaving himself as their only child. If one is to follow the Biblical account of Adam and Eve as the only humans God placed on the planet, where did Cain’s wife come from and was she his sister? This has always puzzled me.
