Is there an analog stick attachment/accessory for the Nintendo DS Lite?

No the only thing in the box is ds, 2 pens, instruction booklet thats all

I bet a lot of people have just ripped out the 4-way and put in an analog stick in their back-alley welding shops in NYC for $5 a pop. the electrics should be quite similar, but if you want to do this on a DS that you just bought and the warranty is still intact, wait until it ends and THEN do it.
