Probably not the best to learn from, but I love the drums in this Arctic Monkeys song.

@dverhey – You made me drool alittle dude!!!
Who are they?
Or atleast who is he?

Just a brit pop type band. Matt Hedgers is the name of the drummer. That is their best song, as far as I’m concerned.

And Alex Turner is the lead singer.

50 Ways to Leave Your Lover ” by Paul Simon. Steve Gadd was the drummer.

@Tink1113, check out Bernie Pershey. He’s been drumming for about 40 years and still rocks the house with his solos.

You know, Gadd did the drumming for Steely Dan’s Aja album too. Magnificent work. Very jazzy.

Actually, anyone Steely Dan used was probably among the best of the best. Donald Fagen’s picky that way. You can’t go wrong with any song by the Dan.

“25 or 6 to 4” by Chicago. We played this in marching band and we crushed with it. Drums, and brass, are awesome in this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=soLIZ4W0rZw
