What's your tonic come summertime?

Asked by kevbo (25672points) June 5th, 2009 from iPhone

Popsicles are becoming a minor addiction for me this summer. And I can’t have just one.

I hope someone says sweet tea.

For my daughter it is sweet tea (said as all one word) but for me it is water with a touch of lemon or lime juice.

Lemonade.

Popsicles too. I also can’t eat just one. I usually grab two or three at a time. I like the cheap “twin-pops”. Not that fancy real fruit juice stuff.

Orange Creamsicles.

the secret is to eat all the orange off first. . .

Ice cold gin and tonic on the porch, letting the sun shine on my blinding white legs, my dog sleeping next to me, my favorite podcasts in my earphones and an easy knitting project in my lap.

Old school porches rock. I wish I had one.

Homemade lemonade. The real kind, with REAL lemons, REAL sugar, and ice-cold water.

Same as always. Ice cold Rolling Rock, and the occasional margarita – on the rocks, with salt. Yum.

Campari and tonic, with a twist.
