Does Fluther do an annual rendevous, or meet and greet for the lower caste, or has it always been private invitational only?

I ask, because I know my wife belongs to a travel group where on-line friends met from all over the world at Vegas; she had a “swell” time until I saw the bill. Does Fluther entertain, or participate in such happenings. Or would it be way too expensive, impractical or ridiculous. I suspect the latter. For one, it could be real expensive hiring body guards. OK, I am ready for the onslaught.
