Who nose? I certainly don’t.

(I hope that it wasn’t Stinkwood.)

Pine

The name comes from the words for “Pine” and “Eye” in Italian.

Since his wooden nose grows, I would guess it’s morning wood.

a compound of Italian pino meaning “pine” and occhio meaning “eye”.

Since his wooden nose grew by telling lies, I would guess “naughty” pine.

“Once upon a time there was a piece of wood. It was not an expensive piece of wood. Far from it. Just a common block of firewood, one of those thick, solid logs that are put on the fire in winter to make cold rooms cozy and warm. ”
