General Question

Could anyone help me to identify this song?

Asked by Saturated_Brain (5235points) June 17th, 2009

I have it as a demo on my electric piano, but I have no clue where it’s from, who composed it, and what it’s called, but I really like it and want to learn how to play it.

So I recorded a few bars of me playing the intro (it’s not very good and too fast, but I was kinda rushing [and it’ll take a second or two before the music comes on]). It should be recognisable enough. Apologies for the crappy quality of the recording. Thanks guys!

@RandomMrdan It’s an mp3 file. You should be able to play it with anything.

yeah, sorry, I’m not going to be of any help on this one. Doesn’t ring any bells.

I listened, and it’s not something I’m familiar with. I’d guess Chopin or Liszt based on the style. You might take the recording to a classical piano teacher—if it’s a well-known piece, he or she will probably recognize it.

it’s a demo, so there is a very good chance that it’s generic, unlicensed classical demo-filler like most electronic piano demoes. Then again, it might be an actual piece; you can always Shazam it.
