A great router for home use?

I bought a Netgear WPN824 (http://kttns.org/kztrk) and well it decides to turn off under really any use.. It shuts off and I need to go and reset my whole network setup in order for it to work.

It was recommended to get this linksys router (http://kttns.org/iywq1) but I’m wary about it since it’s kind of outdated.

No WPA, or WPA2, WEP only..

Still only using 802.11g.

I think the best router I’ve every used has to be the Apple Airport Extreme but I don’t want to drop $200 on a router right now.

Is there a router that you would recommend that’s great for home use?
