Actually I think that is a guarded secret.

Plus it’s constantly fluctuating (money being destroyed, forged, retired, introduced, etc), so I doubt you could get an “exact” count.

According to the Department of the Treasury Bureau of Engraving and Printing, “More U.S. currency circulates in the world than any other currency. About $770 billion circulates worldwide.

@robmandu Wow…. That’s a lot of money…

But it seems like in the wake of this recession the usage of the greenback is gonna drop.
