Does a child ever deserve to be struck? What if they hit you?

Alright, I’m expecting a lot of hostility out of people on this one, but here goes.

When words and arguments aren’t enough, would you ever hit your kid? What if they attacked you, and threatened to call child services if you hit them back? I’m not talking about having a bad day at work and coming home to take it out on your kids, but to stand your ground as a parent. Watch this video. Kids are getting more and more spoiled nowadays. Years from now when I have kids, if time outs and taking privileges away aren’t enough, I will put my kid in line.
