How do I save a picture that was sent to me on my iPhone?

You just synch it. Connect your phone to your computer. It will auto-synch all your photos, contacts, email, songs, videos, etc.

If you mean save to your phone, then all you need to do is hold down on the image and when the menu pops up, tap “Save Image”.
