Why does Windows Movie Maker close every time I click on the timeline?

Chance are you have taken an update that has screwed it up , use something different to make your movies or un install re install movie maker . Or go to microsoft.com see if theres a fix

How do I uninstall it?

I am switching, but a really kick butt movie I was making is already in in movie maker.

Control panel add remove items .
Surely its saved to local drive just copy it to the new maker you use or convert the file .

how do you convert a .mssmw (i think??? idk the Windows Movie Maker project format)?
