How does Fluther moderation work?

I have always wondered, how these Q&A sites can handle the moderation – considering the amount of spam I get to my blog, why isn’t Flutter flooded?

It’s my understanding that Fluther depends on the community to self-police.
There’s a “Flag as abuse” option for each question and each answer.

actually people seem to behave which for the internet is UNHEARD OF… lol
only we need more porn posts (fyi for the clueless that is a JOKE)
