I don’t fully understand the question. You can do it wireless or with Ethernet. You probably need an account that you can make through the Playstation Store.

What part are you stuck on?

You have to create an account for the PSN. Once you do that, go to your PS3’s settings, and go to network settings, and set up a connection, either wired, or wireless (This is a simple step. You can have the PS3 set up everything automatically). Once you do that, exit to the XMB (Main PS3 Menu) and then go to the PSN icon. Click on “Sign Up” or “Sign In” or something like that. Enter the information you used when you created your PSN account. That’s it. It’ll login, then you can play.
