Why is my youtube going so slow when i open the video... but on my ipod touch its fast. please help?

The Youtube app on your iPod is in no way correlated with the speed on your desktop.

By slow, do you mean choppy, or takes a long time to load?

Choppy means your CPU is trash, but long load times mean the Internet connection is bad.

1. what CPU do you have? (Since you just bought the computer, this is unlikely, but it still could be a factor)

2. Are you on wired or wireless Internet?
2a. If wired, is the Ethernet cable old or frayed?
2b. If wireless, have you tried restarting you router?

i mean it takes a long time to load and its really annoying me….

its ethernet and it used ot be really fast but now its really freaking slow

Have you restarted the computer recentl? If not, do that first. Also, unplug any modem and router for a minute, then plug them back in. Sometimes power cycling the modem and router fixes internet problems.

Also, what browser are you using? If it’s IE, I suggest switching to Mozilla Forefox or Google Chrome.
