Should I wait for Verizon to release a slew of new phones in the next two months or give in and get the enV3 right now?

Asked by erichw1504 (26448points) August 11th, 2009

With the news of the new LG Chocolates coming out as well as many more phones in the next couple months I have put off on upgrading to the enV3 in hopes for something even newer and better. Yet, I can’t hold much longer as my anticipation grows to replace my two-year old Chocolate 2. Do you think the wait is worth it? Will their new phones be better than the enV3?

There’s always gonna be something better 2 months from now.

The question is, does this phone do what you want it to at a price/terms you’re comfortable with. If so, then get it. And don’t look back.

I would just go ahead and grab the EnV3, which just came out anyway. The only phones that are coming with keyboards are smartphones mostly and if you’re looking at the EnV3 then that must be important to you (as it should be). So just go for it, you’ll be happy.

@InspecterJones so you don’t think I should wait to for the new chocolate, they say it will be out sometime this month.

@erichw1504 its a full touchscreen device, if you do a lot of texting then you need something with a real keyboard. Its also very oddly shaped, being long and thin. I say be practical and get the EnV3.

On a side note, if you’re willing to step up a bit in monthly costs, you could get the new blackberry tour. I have it, and its freaking amazing, and once you go black[berry] you never go back.
