I feel that way (metaphorically) about everyone who hurts any animal or child.

Literally, what I wish for them is to have the pain they inflict be inflicted on them so that they recognize the harm they have done.

Cats suck. They’re evil.

marinelife's avatar

@InspecterJones based on what? Based on actions, I would say men are evil. If, that is, you feel like going the knee-jerk generalization route.

erichw1504's avatar

Yes, it’s ok. I love cats too. All five of mine.

jbfletcherfan's avatar

I wish fire & brimstone on anyone who hurts ANY animal. There’s no fire in hell that’s too hot for them.

I think cats are evil too, I’m a dog person. Just because he was trying to be funny isn’t a reason to get nasty. To the OP, I would say that is a bit much, but people shouldn’t be hurting pets anyway, that is irresponsible.

AstroChuck's avatar

Yes. It’s fine.

. o O ( I like cats. I just can’t eat a whole one by myself. )
(jk)

I’ve always believed anyone who would hurt an animal would do the same thing to a person, except for their own cowardice.

teh_kvlt_liberal's avatar

Anyone who hurts one deserves to die a slow painful death
We’re all inferior to cats

lloydbird's avatar

Sounds like your cats would stand a great chance in Hell (Talking of fire and brimstone) – because you would go and rescue them.

They are just so cool though.

Quagmire's avatar

I have three and I agree. Also for anyone who hurts ANY animal.

scamp's avatar

Yeah, it’s ok. Didn’t Jeffery Dahmer start his carreer with cats when he was a kid?

ubersiren's avatar

Yes, it’s ok. I don’t understand the hatred for cats some people have. I understand if you’re more a cat, or dog, or bird, or goldfish, no pet type of person, but the absolute loathing some people have for cats is just baffling to me. They’re animals just like the rest. They can be sweet or vicious, loyal or run away, docile or destructive… I can never get a real answer out of a person for why cats in particular are “evil.”

Sarcasm's avatar

Sure.
If we’ve learned anything, it’s that wishing doesn’t actually do anything along with prayer. So who cares what you THINK about somebody as long as you don’t DO anything to them?

OpryLeigh's avatar

I wish that on anyone who hurts ANY animals so, yes, it’s perfectly ok :)

casheroo's avatar

Definitely.

@ragingloli

Our Jenny loves cats that much too loli

AstroChuck's avatar

@ragingloli- Of course it all depends on what you mean by love cats.

tinyfaery's avatar

People who say cats are evil have no imagination. Evil? Really? Do they have a mark of the devil somewhere? Cats are many things, evil is not one of them.

I want to hurt everyone who who hurts any animal. It makes me soooo angry when people hurt animals. People I understand, but innocent little kittens?

BBSDTfamily's avatar

Of course it’s okay!!! I wish that on ANYONE who hurts ANY animal!

Tink's avatar

Heck yes!! I would allow the violence against those people.
I dont own any cats (moms allergic) but I do not like it when people hurt animals.
Do NOT like it!

Grinn's avatar

Animal Abuse is wrong in anycase but not gonna lie, Thats a LITTLE to obsesive.

Tink's avatar

@Grinn Would you mind if I wish fire and brimstone on you? ;)

benjaminlevi's avatar

@Tink1113 @BBSDTfamily @tinyfaery @Leanne1986 @Quagmire @jbfletcherfan @Marina
curious, you more or less say you wish fire and brimstone on everyone who hurts any animal but are you all vegetarian?

Tink's avatar

@benjaminlevi Yes I am a Vegetarian.
But if I wasn’t I still wouldn’t like it when someone hurted an animal.

Quagmire's avatar

@benjaminlevi, if meat, fish and foul were taken off the market so as not to harm the animals, that would be FINE with me. Just the same, if I found out that the animal’s slaughter was inhumane and cruel, I would NOT have the product and try to do something about it. I won’t eat lamb. I recently heard that McDonald’s chickens are cruelly treated at the farm and I’m actually looking into the validity of it.

Likeradar's avatar

I don’t like cats much at all. But I still wish fire and brimstone on anyone who willingly hurts any animal.

Darwin's avatar

Rather than fire and brimstone I wish the authorities would rain down on anyone who deliberately injures or tortures or kills an animal or a child. Both deserve protection, and those who commit such acts often escalate.

lloydbird's avatar

@ragingloli OOOPS! o-:
Clarification for my previous answer: I didn’t mean to imply that I thought that you were heading for that ‘heated’ destination. Mearly that it seems that you would be prepared to go there and back for the sake of your cat/cats.

OpryLeigh's avatar

@benjaminlevi Officially no, I am not a vegetarian although I don’t choose to eat meat if it can be helped (mostly because I’m not keen on the taste of it). If I am at someones house and they make me a meal then (unless it’s chicken) I will eat it out of politeness.

Growing up I always knew where my meat came from as I come from a family of farmers and so I KNOW that those animals were not treated inhumanely before they were put on my plate. Nowadays I don’t have that luxury and so this is another reason why I will avoid meat if possible. I like to know where my meat has come from before I will be happy to eat it.

growler's avatar

@benjaminlevi Not addressed to me, but yes anyway :)

Darwin's avatar

For all those who love cats and/or dogs, did anyone see Nature last night?

Jude's avatar

Anyone that hurts an animal, child or an elderly person – that bothers me. Hell, anyone who can’t defend themselves and they get hurt; that upsets me.
