Is VLC compatible with Linux (xandros)?

Asked by Anatelostaxus (1428points) August 15th, 2009

instead of using amarok and to be able to use foxytunes I’d prefer VLC (since foxytunes doesn’t seem to recognise amarok)

It should be, I don’t know how you install stuff in Xandros but VLC should definitely be available as it’s a very popular application and available for other Linux distributions.

@Vincentt good ol’ Vince.. cheers mate for your help again.
yeah, well I’ll have to find out how to install it. I’ve already installed it and found it in the main folder but it’s not executable. I don’t know which program to use to open it.
see ya mate, wish me luck..
