Please help me identify this perfume?

Asked by phlenk (1points) August 18th, 2009

Hi everyone,

I received this perfume sample about 20 years ago. I love the scent, but there is no label on the bottle and I haven’t been able to identify this fragrance. Does anyone recognize this?

Avon put out mediocre perfume in cute bottles for a long time. I have no idea how you would ID that particular bottle.

The high-end perfumes used more expensive materials for their bottles.

See this or this or this.

Sorry. I’ve got a headcold right now.

Nope. But I’d recommend bringing the bottle to the fragrance experts at Sephora. They know what they’re doing.

20 years ago , most likely Avon own branded then . And if you were going to try find it again , i would say lucks out Avon would have moved to many different smells by now .

Did I miss something? Why do you think it’s Avon?

@Likeradar: That was a guess on my part since Avon used to make different bottles, all a little cutesy.

It looks like a Claude Montana fragrance. Here is a mini one on sale for comparison. http://www.1stperfume.com/montanafetsl2ml.html?shopping It describes the scent so you can get an idea if that one is close enough to yours. Even though it is not an exact match – I doubt that the unique twisty frosted bottle with the same type cap would have been used by another perfumer. Good luck finding it.

I think you’re right. Thanks so much for your help!
