How to plan a trip to Lake tahoe?

I am looking to go to Lake Tahoe in the winter for snowboarding. Where should I stay? What are the best places to snowboard? What airport should I fly into?

Fly into the Reno-Tahoe airport.

Consider Alpine Meadows or Kirkwood. Check out this boarders’ blog listing the Top 10 Best in the West.

Yeah Reno- Tahoe is the airport to go, just don’t be surprised with the bumpy ride :)

Try visiting Truckee too.. My wife’s from there.. It is an awesome little town.
