If you’re desperate enough…
Stab the bites with a needle (I mean literally stab them, pierce the skin) and rub toothpaste in the bites
works for me…

I answered this yesterday in another mosquito-question:
“By the way, i found out, through experimenting, that putting a little toothpaste on the bite, works wonders.
In three minutes the itch fades away.
Really.

Don’t thank me now, thank me once you tried it and found out that it works.”

Go to the pharmacy and get yourself a Tiger Balm, Vix Rub or anything similar.

Human saliva can also work, if you don’t break the skin. Avoiding itching and scratching them makes a huge difference.

I tend to use my fingernail and give the spot a deep poke. Just love that relief !

Benedryl spray will give you relief, not sure if it will make them go away faster. You can additionally put cortozone on them to help reduce inflammation,

@JLeslie

Cortozone…sounds very familliar to me. Isnt that for dry skin?

Cortozone reduces inlammation, it is used in skin condition. You can buy it in the drug store over the counter, comes in tubes as ointment or cream. You may have heard of people getting cortozone injections, especially althetes, when they have injuries.

I found an electric thingy that seems to help. Might be placebo effect, but if it helps it helps, I couldn’t care less.

Still, 50 is a lot!

lavender oil does the trick very time!

• don’t scratch
• resist breaking the layer of skin
• wash the area with a cooling mild soap like Johnson’s baby wash or Dr. Bronner’s peppermint soap
• dry area and gently apply tea tree oil

Not only will the tea tree oil soothe the itchiness, it will also prevent scarring, speed healing and repel new mosquitoes.

If I know I’m going to be out during active mosquito season I usually dab a small amount of tea tree oil to the following areas, and hardly ever get bit:
• both sides of my neck
• back of each wrist
• back of each knee
