Why are some of your guys avatars orange today?

In honor of Cak. It is our way of sending her warmth and love. Go orange-It feels good!

What happened to Cak?

Apparently, tink, there was a tradition when cak and some others were on askville to show orange in support for cak as it is a healing color. Join us.

Cak had a double masectomy and yesterday we heard she was in the ICU with complications. the words “touch and go” were used. No new word today

This would be why my question that I posted earlier to start this trend was NOT redundant, as I was told by the moderators. Oh well. :P

In support of Cak, though I’m not entirely sure how it started out being orange, over on Askville many people have orange avatars or change to orange avatars when she’s going through something particularly nasty. Orange is a healing color, but I’m not sure if that’s just a coincidence or if that’s why it was chosen. Its a way to show that we’re thinking about her and supporting her in her rough times. I transplanted the tradition over here today. :)
