Were the captured American hikers in Iran really just hiking?

Pakistan and Iran seem like very peculiar hiking destinations considering the state of the region.

Now that Iraq has been invaded there are only 5 nations left in the world not controlled by a central bank, like our federal reserve. All central banks are connected with the IMF. Iran, Syria, and North Korea are 3 out of the 5 countries without an IMF controlled central bank. That’s why the media is making us hate them so much. By the time you die you will probably see most of these countries invaded so we can set up a “democracy”. A revolution is being funded in Iran to overthrow the government so that a central bank can be implemented. Hikers? No way. When planning a hiking trip, no American lists Iran as a destination. My guess, they were CIA agitators sent to do some recon.

@Darbio16 “A revolution is being funded in Iran to overthrow the government so that a central bank can be implemented.”

Please elaborate. I wasn’t aware that the revolution was being funded so that a central bank could be implemented…

I am under the assumption that the people of Iran realize that they do not have the rights that people in other countries do, and want to live more freely.

@Darbio16 As creepy and draconian as the US gov’t is, I’d still rather be it’s citizen compared to NK. You’re basically saying that we’re more oppressed than the citizens of NK and that is just ignorant.

I never said that any of those 5 countries are not oppressed nor did I make any assumptions regarding the feelings of the citizens whatsoever. The IMF is the partnered up with the world bank. It is not the job of the bank to spend the money you borrow, therefore it is not a concern to them what the purpose of your borrowed money would be. Bankrolling freedom is just as profitable as bankrolling dictatorship. In the eyes of the world bankers profits are most important. The countries can go about their merry way, be it a democracy or an oligarchy, just as long as they borrow their money from the IMF.

No doubt that western civilization has its perks. At what cost though? Cheap prices at Wal-mart are a result of slave labor. We tend to relish in all that we have paying no attention whatsoever toward the means in which we arrived at this end. In Americas case, the ends do not justify the means. I am not saying that we start trashing the good thing we got going here. We should, by some but not all means, promote the ideas of freedom around the world. What message are we sending if we take nations by force?

It’s no secret that the CIA has been funding rebellion in unfavorable countries for years now. Nicaragua and Afghanistan to name a couple. Central intelligence, central bank…see anything going on here? It is not our government as whole, rather it is a faction within or even above our government.
