Asked by ngelugh (55points) September 20th, 2009

If there is anyone out there that has actually read the bill in its entirety… jump right in. I want to see what peoples thoughts are and or suggestions

I think it’s an ugly, insufficient compromise and a blowjob for the insurance companies, from which Baucus got about $3 million so far.

It places an intolerable tax on the middle class, sells out the public option (the sine qua non) and doesn’t do enough to reform Medicare.

The Dems are cowards and the Repubs are motherfuckers, and they all roll over for big Pharma and Big Med.

Other than that, it’s OK.

In case anyone wants to put their reading glasses where their mouth is here is all 1017 pages.

Of course bills go through changes before they become laws.
