Need help with Name of Song?

Its a song that my ex used to play for me on his guitar. Im pretty sure it just acoustic guitar through the whole song and I think it’s by Jack Johnson or someone similar to him. It says something about going off of each others energy in the chorus. It is a more upbeat song. I know that this is not a lot of details but I need to find this song and I can’t and I don’t talk to the ex anymore. PLEASE HELP!! Thanks!
