Please no mac hating, just any help on setting the first paragraph together.

The sooner you learn to spell, the more persuasive you will become.

I hate homework questions, and I hate macs, but for some reason I’m feeling altruistic today.

If it is a persuasive paper, you are trying to get the reader to believe what you are presenting. A good place to start is to make a list of reasons why you think macs are better. And you should probably define “better”. Do they perform better? Are they more cost efficient? etc.. Why do you like your mac? That’s a good place to start. The first paragraph is just a brief intro about what you are going to present. So maybe you think macs are “better” because they are more user friendly. Start by introducing both types of computers, and then briefly describe how a mac offers more to the user by being easier to learn and utilize.

Or something. Do I get my Fluther gold star today?

Well, you can always start with how the Mac guy in the ad is so much cuter than the PC guy.

Or maybe not.
