What are your favorite Fonts?

Asked by jrpowell (40562points) January 29th, 2008

Free and a link to a download would be ideal. Mac friendly is also a plus. I figure it is time to stop using Comic Sans on my Resume.

Specifically.. What are good Resume Fonts?

I like it oldies but goodies:
Georgia and Bookman Old Style
oh, and by the way, I want to call for a moratorium on Comic Sans MS or any of its cousins.

To name a few I like:

Verdana
Georgia
Garamond

@ GD Kimble: I’m aggressively anti-comic sans and think it should never be used ; )
I even own this tee-shirt:

Since i am in webdesign and i need to stay compatible with almost every computer, i like Tahoma et MS Trebuchet with a bit of Verdana for small text

I’ve heard that Garamond is the easiest to read—reading fast.
