Why do the "__ is writing a response" boxes flicker on and off every 15 or so seconds?

It bugs me.

@andrew I’m glad I didn’t pm you about it as I was planning to.

I always thought it was because it was live time and it was refreshing. I’m no tech whiz, it’s just what I always assumed.

It is, indeed, refreshing to note that even Bendrewin have some technical troubles.

Bendrew won’t tell you, but the truth is, it is my fault. Everything that goes to hell on Fluther can easily be blamed on me. ~

Don’t know, I’m not a mod and have been wondering myself. Presumably this person needs to study the Fluther guidelines more. Also, I presume the mods have told it why.

@evelyns_pet_zebra actually, now that Tim Trueman is part of the group, we hace to call them bendrewman or tendrew or bendrew trueman or bendrewtrue or truebendrew (i like options 1, 4, and 5).

@evelyns_pet_zebra Well, techincally, I’m working on a different feature. You’d have to talk to a different founder named Shmen, who may or may not have “fixed” it a few days ago.
