Is there a short way to use the @<username> tag on Fluther?

Asked by the100thmonkey (11265points) October 8th, 2009

I see people using @<username> with an embedded link to refer to others’ answers. I know I can do it using the “link”:<url> tag, but was wondering if there’s a quicker way.

Just type that exactly.

If you type ”@petethepothead” it will automatically link to my response (assuming I have already answered somewhere in the thread.)

If you have javascript enabled you can just type @ and a popup will appear with all the usernames that posted in the thread. It only works if the @ is the last letter in your post, and there is nothing following it.

@petethepothead: I see. Thank you.

@markyy: That works great.

Lurve for both of you :)
