Would men and women have danced together around the time of the birth of Christ at the Inn in Bethlehem?

Dancing at the time of birth of Christ. Would men and women have been at the Inn? Would there have been dancing? Would they have danced together or separately? What type of dancing would they have done? What type of music would have been played?

Why would they be dancing? The only people that knew about it were the shepherds and the wise men. I don’t think random people were dancing, unless this is one of those musicals where everyone dances at random moments.

Men and women would certainly not have danced together in the Jewish community, but I don’t know about the pagans. They were probably doing the shimmy night and day.

What spurted this question? I find it very curious. Interesting, but I don’t understand what makes one wonder about it.
