What's the best way to sell loose Jade?

I have 7 or 8 pieces of loose jade in different shapes and sizes that have been in my family for a long time. Unfortunately, the jade now needs to be sold for financial reasons. I could put it on ebay, but I’m wondering if there’s some more direct approach for selling it—are there jewelers that specialize in buying/selling jade? Or if I did put it on ebay should I sell it as a lot, or sell individual pieces? I’m also worried about how I would photograph it well and write a legitimate description if I sold it online, so tips in that direction would help as well. If anyone has any advice I’d love to hear it.
