Should my tooth STILL be hurting?

Asked by joshisradd (238points) February 9th, 2008 from iPhone

I got a filling a week ago.and it hurts 10xs more now than it did before the dentist. I can’t even let mildly cold liquid touch it. Is this normal?

NO! How about heat? I would see your dentist immediately, or perhaps another one since it sounds like this one did a shoddy job. Sensitivity to cold and heat is the symptom; the dental work is supposed to be the solution.
