I am married to a great guy, however my best friend is also a guy and I would like to get him a gift for the holiday to show him how much I really love and appreciate him, any ideas?

I am a 25 yr old female married to a wonderful guy – we have our ups and our downs (as every couple does). However, my best friend is a guy, we have always been there for one another – kind of flirty at times, but never cheated or anything and he means the world to me. My best friend and my husband are also friends as well, but I would still like to get my best friend a gift for Christmas that has meaning to it, but I don’t know what to get.

Get your friend a gift! It’s always nice to do something nice for someone else… but I suspect that this friend is more of a fantasy relationship than reality. If you love your husband, take the time to work on that relationship.

create something personal that could only ever come from you and that represents your friendship through the years

get together with your husband and pick out a gift together, then present it together. This way you can show him how much you care without it being awkward, plus you get some quality time with your huby

How do you truly feel about this friend? If you know he is just a “best friend”, get him something from the heart that just the two of you share as “best friends” – something that might be an inside joke, common interest as friends, etc. But if your relationship is something more than just “friends” and you really care about him in that way, then something more affectionate that says enough about how you feel about him but doesnt says “I want you” might be appropriate. I hope this makes sense. Ideas I would go for: wallet with a note on the inside, watch with “best friends” inscribed on the back of it, cologne that he likes, etc.
