I am creative, I have intelligence, so I would agree with the concept.

Just don’t me started on Intelligent Design, which of course, is neither.

That it’s B.S.
Of course I think anything that involves spirituality is bullshit.

@Psychedelic_Zebra Fair enough, i was just wondering what other people thought on the matter :)

Could you give a little information about creative intelligence? I don’t know how I feel about because I haven’t heard of it.

interesting, not sure why my post was removed but ok lol…

@OutOfTheBlue Sorry… we don’t allow “Let me google that for you”.

Also, I did google it, but came up with several different avenues to pursue. Not sure what specifically you’re referring to.

o0o, it really wasn’t meant to be smart ass btw, i was trying to refer the links that i read on..

augustlan's avatar

You can still link to it, but usually “LMGTFY” is snarky.

Indeed it is, point taken, let me grab a few links.

Thanks! Very interesting stuff. I’m a creative type, and I have an endless desire to learn about, well, everything. I don’t know that I use the two things together, though. I’m not very dedicated to my creative side at the moment. :(

I think that is all part of it, it comes in waves, i know this may sound really strange to some people, but let’s say someone comes to me with a question and i have never read about it or maybe never even heard of it. Now with that in mind, some how i know the answer, how is this possible?

@OutOfTheBlue I would choose intuition, we all have it, and it all works differently for us.

OutOfTheBlue's avatar

Intuition would explain a lot, but not some of the things, good answer though.

Re the link you offered:
It was sounding almost like psychology (read: vague and widely applicable; not psychological) until all that spirit stuff. Then it reminded me of astrology.

I guess it’s not, like, irredeemable though. I wouldn’t say that. But its attempt at naming and expounding on the qualities of an artist that contribute to the production of good art – its attempt at that just seems kind of unnecessary or impossible. Like it said, a list of ‘CI’ qualities would be long and would vary from person to person. These are only vaguely defined (and probably not deeply researched) correlations.

@Augustlan What? Snark isn’t allowed?
Ruh-oh. Methinks I’m in for some modding…

augustlan's avatar

@Nimis Some snark is allowed, just not that particular snark. :)

AstroChuck's avatar

(Knock, knock) Land Snark.

My thoughts on the matter have been significantly shaped by my exposure to some of the works of this teacher. I would recommend him strongly.

Creativeness is driven by emotions. So I guess EQ is important as well.

The only thing that gets me creative is inspiration, and it comes out of the blue..
