smugmug.com which allows you to customize by either using some of the easy to navigate pre-designed stylesheets or by creating your own using html.

I forgot to mention, AND FREE :)

I need sites that I can post my work, or websites that showcase different photographers work.

I mean something more like this ;

My friend made this site, but I’ve been trying to find more but I’m having a hard time finding them :/

@Mcbealer- Smugmug isn’t free. You can have a free trial but it costs afterwards.

There is Picasaweb (www.picasaweb.google.com) free for the first 1GB, also Photobucket is good for a free site. Lots of ads though but still. But if your serious about showcasing your work then i would pay for either zenfolio, smugmug or create your own website.

But you limited with choice if you want something free and are turning your nose up at photobucket.

There are a lot of great Livejournal communities for sharing photography. Browse around and you’re almost certain to find a few that fit with your style.

Free can disappear at anytime. Keep that in mind. You can get hosting and roll your own for 5 bucks per month.

I haveno idea what you have to do to get on but I love to browse ” deviant Art.” It seems like a community of artist that support and comment on each others work.

deviantART isn’t exclusively phography, but some professional photographers use it anyway.

Here’s the link: link.

It’s free unless you want a subscription—less ads, better viewing (more items to a page, that sort of thing). Completely useable when it’s free, though.

Wesay.com is a citizen journalism site which gets lots of cool contributions. I’ve used it for a while, it’s good fun and they have loads of competitions. I’m also a fan of ephotozine, which has a big community and loads of good features. Tere are masses of interesting online photography magazines as well which are good for browsing through.
