How can I learn about a native american arrow head and pottery fragment collection I inherited?

The collection consists of 50 arrow heads and 20 pottery fragments my father found along a river in northern Florida as a child( in the 1950’s).

Contact an archaeologist or palaeontologist from the area, possibly from a nearby university. If they aren’t expert in that particular period, they will know someone who is.

I agree, a university will be your best bet. Go online to find a staff listing and then send a polite letter of introduction. Most folks are happy to share their knowledge.

I agree archaeoligist is the way to go. Universities are usually eager to help with that sort of stuff.
