How can I install an FTDI-cable on my macbook?

Asked by Flarlarlar (303points) November 30th, 2009

I’ve got an intel macbook, an FTDI 3V3 usb cable for programming purposes and an arduino based board. The drivers have been installed and can be found by the arduino program.

When I try to write my program the arduino program informs me of an error with the device. The board is powered, and I can program it with my windows laptop.
