I need to know how i should present my project...

Asked by AmberLynn (3points) November 30th, 2009

I am doing a project on the digestive system/abdominal cancer, but I cant use a backboard of any type, and I shouldn’t use a slideshow because to many people in my class are already doing that. What should I do now?

Well, first you have to say your title, then your question. After explain what you did and if any thing wierd happened say that. Everyone loves a bit of comedy! :) Then tell them your data and explain if you were wrong or not. Then ask for questions and your done! :) Don’t be nervous! :)

Make a model of a person, even if unrealistic. Pull out body parts and replicate what they do. Use like balloons and straws for stomach/intestines, etc.

I did a project on Aztec sacrifice in school that involved a LOT of “blood” (ketchup). The class loved it, the teacher loved it, I got an A.

Something gross and funny will be sure to keep your classmates’ attention, especially after likely sitting through lots of boring presentations!

Try making an interactive worksheet. It can be pretty engaging, and that’s really important. If people have something to look at that is directly in front of them, it can help retain their interest longer. Try it out!

Tell them at the beginning that there will be a quiz at the end for some candy. Usually keeps people interested to get their sugar fix.

One of the best lectures i ever attented was about osteoporosis. Lecturer just wrote one word on the board; “bone” then he talked about bone for 10 minutes, then he added “less” in front and he talked about the process of bone loss, finally he added “in the bone” and spoke about the specifics of osteoporosis.

“less bone in the bone” was his take home message and those were the only five words he wrote for the entire lecture. The take home message came through clear as a bell because he didnt obscure it with flashy powerpoint slides. Then again he was a natural.
