Reaction of decomposition of hypochlorite?

Can anybody clear me the Reaction of decomposition of hypochlorite (ClO-).

3CIO- → CIO3 + 2CI-

Mechanism
Step1. CIO- + CIO- → CIO2— + CI- SLOW
Step2. CIO2— + CIO- → CIO3— + CI- FAST
Overall. 3CIO- → CIO3 + 2CI-

The first step is the slow and rate determining step. Thus, the rate of the reaction is

Rate = k [ClO-] [ClO-] =k [ClO-] 2
So the above reaction is of second order reaction.
