What's your favorite simple appetizer to make/serve?

My parents are coming to dinner on Saturday, and I’d like some suggestions of things to serve before dinner. We’re having crab cakes, if that matters. I have some faithful backups, but I’d like to try something new. What are your favorites? Preferably something fairly simple. Thanks!
