Remember TGIF on ABC from the 90's? How come pretty much every show except Family Matters has been released on DVD?

Asked by Ansible1 (4841points) December 9th, 2009

Full House, Perfect Strangers, Dinosaurs, Mr. Belvedere, Boy Meets World, even Sister Sister is on DVD. (There are others but not sure if they were released) So why not Family Matters?

I can’t give you an answer because I don’t know. What I do know is, you just brought back a bunch of good memories. Thanks.

Because Jaleel White will “take care of” anyone who brings that mess up again in any context?

OK, I’m kiddin’. I don’t know.

He is big enough and man enough these days to stomp a knot in the keister of anyone who runs afoul of him, though.

I have no idea. But I do know that the the youngest daughter Judy (Jaimee Foxworth), who was written out of the series without any explanation in the 4th season, made about 8 porn films from 2000–2002 under the name “Crave”. Just thought I’d share that bit of trivia…you’ll never see the show the same way again.

Because it was awful.

I used to watch it as a kid, but I’ve been catching some reruns on Nick-at-Nite lately and it’s pretty terrible.
