Pictures to compare myself to?

Asked by Oxymoron (1239points) December 11th, 2009

Not that I NEED to do it, but it helps me get a real idea of what I look like to everyone else. Does anyone know any websites with a variety of different sized girls that I could compare my body to? Thank you!

You are yourself…an individual. Want to see something beautiful? Go stand in front of a mirror and repeat the following: Wow! Wow! Oh, Wow! Awesome!

@global_nomad Thank you. I think it’s inspirational in a way.

GA, @SirGoofy. Why do we need to compare ourselves at all?

maybe it’s just me but I find a size 16 woman much more attractive even than the size 12. I also vote for more pics. :-D

MrBr00ks's avatar

@downtide, i did find the “bigger” sizes more appealing as well.

Just a sidenote: the pictures that @chelseababyy linked to are actually in UK sizes, which are slightly off from US sizes. So, unfortunately, it’s not as empowering as it could be. Makes me sad. :(

Here’s a link to a page explaining the sizing: they should be a 10, a 6, and a 14 in US sizes.

(@evegrimm Even with those sizes, it’s still empowering. But that’s just my opinion.)

@chelseababyy, I’m not disagreeing with you! I just wanted to add that as a disclaimer. I do appreciate that you put that up as the first answer. It’s so true, and I wish popular media would understand that.

@evegrimm I know! I was just sayin’! I’m glad you find it as awesome as I do. And that’s so true. These girls are so worried about being 90lbs and that’s just not healthy. I’ve found that more guys like girls with a bit of meat on their bones.

@chelseababyy yea, I haven’t met many that like the ultra skinny look. I keep telling my wife this, but she still doesn’t take my opinion seriously, heh.
