Jimmy Page

I’d like to learn toward Eric Clapton, but Jeff Beck is favorite of mine too. I don’t think Jimmy page is all that cracked up.

Clapton! All the way!

I will vote for Eric Clapton.

I’d say Eric Clapton as well.

I’m not going to attempt an answer. I’m just going to note that I really didn’t appreciate Clapton until I got this album.

Jimmy Page, 1957. My vote’s for him. Look at those hands! They were built for playing guitar!

Eric Clapton.
They may make you edit this because it seems fluther doesn’t like “poll” questions. I just had to dump my “What is your favorite Ballet question because of this”

@Pumpkin_Etoile Try “Will you share your favorite ballets?” In the details you could ask people to talk about why they are their favorites, and if they’ve been to see them in person, and so forth.

I did ask why they were their favorites in the body. But thanks for the tip. I may do that next time.

Page. He may have been nicknamed “fumblefingers” but even the fumbling was fucking brilliant.

Jimmy Page, end of story.

What talent to choose from! I gotta go with Clapton, but I ache to say Page.

The “critics” will say Beck. The fans will say Clapton. Who can I listen to all day and is responsible for more memorable music? Jimmy Page. Tho all talented and proficient, none compare to Hendrix or Stevie Ray Vaughn in making a guitar do more than seemingly possible.
See ya….Gary/wtf

@whatthefluther True, but you forgot John McLaughlin.

@wildpotato….Good call! I love The Mahavishnu Orchestra . He is a master of diverse styles and brilliant on acoustic. We’ve been blessed with some awesome recordings (his work with Miles Davis kicks ass) over a great career. See ya…..Gary/wtf
