I was underwhelmed. John Stewart was mildly funny, people looked nice, all the movies I liked didnt win awards they deserved, and people came out of huge tubes that rose up into the ceiling. The statues were shiny, people looked nice. The end.

I liked Jon Stewart’s comment about this being an important election year for the movie industry.. usually when there’s a black or woman president, an asteroid is about to hit the statue of liberty- how are we supposed to know it’s the future anymore? silver unitards? :)

It sucked as usual. Who really cares? I’m glad for the people but in the context of it all, it will not affect MY life. Hooraa, Let’s get on with the show

With all the hype from the entertainment press,a month ahead of said event,I thought it all came together as predictable. Also the academy awards has lost the element of surprise, which was evident a very long time ago.
