Did Fluther have any backgrounds before? / What would you set as Fluther's background?

Asked by jfos (7392points) December 14th, 2009

I first would like to point out that I like Fluther’s new background; it’s very season-appropriate (at least for where I live…).

Now that I think of it, I forget what the previous background was… Does anybody remember? Also, were there any other backgrounds before that?

If you could make Fluther’s background whatever you wanted, what would you choose?

Yes, I like this new background! The previous one was this one, but without the snowflakes. You see the design behind the flakes?

Ah, right.

It’s all Christmas-ay. I like. :)

Yay! We are ready for the Holidays! :) I wonder if Dr. J (for new members that is the nickname of the jellyfish with glasses) will get decked out at all!

I have only known the usual background but I have seen Dr.J change a bit for Holidays!

It’s very Christmas-ish and quite nice. Maybe in the summer, we could try an ocean full of jellyfish!

@Dog That’s a good idea, he deserves a Santa hat or something.

I like the background as is – backgrounds should be simple and not overly distracting so that they stay in the background. I imagine that is why the snowflakes were only placed at the uppermost part of the page and not scattered everywhere, so that it won’t divert attention from the more important elements of the web page.

Is this on the iPhone or something? The background of www.fluther.com looks the same as always to me here.

Ah see it… didn’t have my browser stretched wide ‘nuf.
