Don't you think they should have a reverse version of Pay-Per-View ?

Asked by Pretty_Lilly (4660points) December 15th, 2009

Instead of paying a premium fee for what you want to watch, you would pay for what you don’t want to watch. I personally would pay a premium lifetime fee “NOT” to ever see/hear about Tiger Woods nor any of his ‘tell all’ Hoochies!.

Oh, until I read the details of your Q, I thought, “Wow! What a great idea! I have a list of movies that I should have been paid to watch.”

But your idea has merit, too.

Pay Per Not View? I would love it if I never had to hear/watch American Idol, Two and a Half Men and Extra/TMZ/Entertainment Tonight.

Well some movies are so bad, they should pay us to watch them… so yes.

I could see this working with advertisements. For example, I would be willing to pay good money to never watch another ad again in my life.

Actually, I would like a reduction on my cable bill to have them remove all of the stations that we don’t watch.

Even if I were paid to watch,I don’t think I would.I just don’t like to watch tv much.We just quit cable tv without blinking an eye.

You mean view-per-pay?

I love thuis question. Some of the crapola Hollywood puts out they would have to tape my eyes open and tie my hands down and then pay me to watch.

@lucillelucillelucille How odd: You quit cable TV without blinking an eye, and I know people who can watch for hours… also without appearing to blink. It’s a funny thing; I thought I’d mention that.
