Have you played any War Re-enactment paintball?

Asked by LeopardGecko (1237points) December 16th, 2009

Is there an organization that hosts this in a local area? Or are they offered from the paintball places themselves?

No, but what a great idea! Even better, play a re-enactment of a zombie infestation where you must defend your fort from a surge of hungry zombies!

Oh yes. The axis won this time.

Isn’t every paintball encounter a war reenactment?

LeopardGecko's avatar

@UScitizen – Yes that is true, but not officially, no. I’m talking about scenarios where one side is axis, the other is allies and you are in Western Europe at the Battle of the Bulge sort of thing.

@ragingloli – Where do you do this? How is everything set up? Do you play at specific battles?

@LeopardGecko How do you propose to find 500,000 paintballers to re-enact the Battle of the Bulge?

LeopardGecko's avatar

@stranger_in_a_strange_land – in no way do I expect to find a full scale battle (which for the battle of the bulge would be around 1.34 million). That’s ridiculous.

Well I’m attending a Red Dawn scenario game on Jan.10 in Vancouver. Last time I played with Canadians I got slaughtered in the first 5 minutes. I’ve got my Tippmann Alpha One Tactical all ready. I have done smaller scenario games like Black Hawk down and such but this’ll be my first big one. About 300+ people are coming.

Yes…Everyone for themselves.

@Bugabear – Red Dawn III at Tswwassen Paintball right? I was just looking that up today and was going to E-mail them. Perhaps you could give me some info?

Bugabear's avatar

Yeah sure. It’s at Tsawassen paintball. I’m goin because my nephew is running a paintball club at his school and this would be their first scenario game. I’m not sure how much the tickets are but they’re somewhere in the range of 30–40 cad per person. Not too much bit it’ll be cold so pack a sweater. And I think they’ll have some sort of special panit avalible.
