Does anybody have ideas for Christmas gifts?

Asked by Jrnevin (27points) December 16th, 2009 from iPhone

I’m 22 year old male and don’t know what I want for Christmas. Does anybody have ideas? What are you asking for Christmas?

The only thing I want is this. I am absolutely not kidding, if I don’t get it I’m buying it for myself.

I’m having trouble figuring out what I want for Christmas this year, too. I don’t think I’ve ever had a harder time. That said, I had no problem figuring out what to get everyone else. Go figure.

What are some of your interests? Do you like to read? Write? Draw? Are you active? Do you follow trends or abhor them? Any info will help.

@fireinthepriory That’s bag rules.

I want the perfume Amour by Kenzo. It’s got an unusual smell that kind of reminds me of incense.

If you don’t know what you want, just ask for money or gift cards. You can find stuff to spend it on later, or you can just save it. I’m also 22 and I know you can always use more money at this age.

I have difficulty every Year buying for all my Son’s teachers . I got his head Teacher a beautiful pen set . My Son is Autistic and he has three TA’ s an OT and Speech Therapist . I got them all boxes of really good chocolate from Costco. In the past I bought everything from wallets to hat and glove sets .
Be aware that gift cards have expiration dates and fees . Find out exactly what they are before you buy them. I decided not to.

For a few people in my life that are impossible to buy for, I found a great site that I use for gifts. www.greatclubs.com. You can get beer/wine/chocolate, etc. of the month and you can choose how many months. Everyone I have gotten this for has absolutely loved it.

Ask for something practical. Are you living on your own? Do you cook? Need clothes? Have any hobbies? Go camping?

Maybe a giftcard for a coffee shop or grocery store. I’m partial to giftcards for Trader Joe’s. That way, I can buy noth “fun” and practical stuff with it.

If you have a Game System, new title releases mite be good to ask for, or if some one really loves you, a brand new LCD HD t.v for your room :)

Check out link for some cool gift ideas.

In the past, I have given some people gift certificates from kiva.com. Kiva, and other similar companies, offer micro-loans to people around the world. Your gift recipient can log on to their site and choose which individual’s or group’s project that he or she would like to invest in.
